We are an off-site manufacturer, at the forefront of the sector. We have a range of sustainable build systems, that utilise Modern Methods of Construction (MMC) that allows us to construct homes which are Greener, Faster and Better.

 

We supply the nation’s House Builders with state of the art, third party certified wall panel systems, large floor cassettes and roof systems. Nationwide, from Exeter to Aberdeen and everything in between we have a network of skilled Installers and regional Construction Managers and Supervisors installing timber superstructures on our customer’s developments.

 

With a capacity to manufacture 10k houses a year, we supply and install for the UK’s leading private house builders. We do the same in the affordable sector working for national and regional contractors. We also enjoy strong relationships with more regionally focussed house builders. So, our portfolio of projects is diverse from small developments to large schemes and a variety of designs. We have a range of build systems and services to suit our client’s needs; it’s what we call tailored customisation. We differentiate ourselves through great client service, even going so far as offer training modules to our clients on MMC.

The Role

 

This role will concentrate on sales activity across the UK.  You will play a key role in maximising the growth of our customer base in line with the company’s business plan and vision. Using systems and tools available to you, this role will require an investigative and research-based skill set along with excellent cold calling skills to feed new opportunities to the key account managers across the UK.

The full-time hours for this role are 37.5 hours per week over 5 days, Monday to Friday, however there is the opportunity for part-time hours with a variety of options which could be considered. Part-time hours could include shorter working days or fewer days each week.

This role is a temporary position to cover maternity leave.

 

  • Your Responsibilities

     

    • Actively qualify opportunities via phone and email in order to provide qualified leads and schedule appointments for our Key Account Managers (KAMs).

     

    • Build effective external relationships and nurture leads until they are qualified opportunities for the sales pipeline through an online database; web enquires and marketing campaigns.

     

    • Ensure all qualified leads are effectively managed through proactively identifying issues to be addressed by the KAMs.

     

    • Demonstrate strong internal relationships with KAMs and other departments within the Division to achieve (3) above.

     

    • Produce weekly and monthly performance reports detailing status of prospects and enquiries for senior leaders within the division.

     

    • Ensure accuracy and visibilty of the status of qualified sales pipeline and report any risk/variance to your line manager.

     

    • Build effective relationships with the wider Business Development team to ensure all opportunities within the sales pipeline are monitored and all outstanding actions are dealt with.

     

    • Ensure all enquiries are booked into our bespoke CRM system acurrately and in a timely mannor.

     

    • Manage and promote our monthly webinars through the Teams webinar platform.

  • Tenacious and results-oriented with proven track record of achieving pipeline development and appointment setting targets

 

  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills, confident speaking with high level decision makers and influencers (both externally and within the business)

 

  • Strong verbal communication skills, clear, concise, compelling and engaging phone etiquette

 

  • Strong business acumen, able to accurately qualify leads based on understanding of our internal criteria and external decision making

 

  • Excellent organisational skills, multi-tasking within a fast-moving sales environment

 

  • Demonstrate full understanding of the sales process and B2B buying cycle (essential)

 

  • Demonstrate advanced IT literacy within Microsoft Office and CRM database (essential)

 

  • Knowledge and understanding of the construction sector (desirable)

 

  • Knowledge of both private and affordable housing sectors (desirable)
